Something worth trying is what my son's karate teacher told me about for his white uniform.. Add a few tablespoons of salt and a quarter cup of lemon juice to the wash. This whitens and also removes stains and odor beautifully. Use hot water, as you'll need it to knock out the grease. Hope it helps! P.S.: Oh and buy hubby a roll of paper towels for the next fish fry. It's cheaper than replacing those kitchen towels, or him for that matter.
