A key to trade show success is training your cabin. Every room needs a specific marketing message targeted to a unique perspective and a staff capable of showing contact this audience. To exploit the appearance of your living room, it is essential to have a Knowledgeable, skilled and highly trained staff Selling your trade show booth.
Before the show, rehearsals and training sessions for your exhibiting staff are essential to maximize the prospects and visitor sales potential at a trade show.

Here are basic tips for grooming your exhibit staff:
1. Hire a coach Personal exposure before the trade show.
2. Having a coach in the booth to establish procedures and monitor booth activity.
3. Provide incentives (to boost traffic booth, give a gift voucher for each hour).
4. Be good stewards of your (and your visitors) time. Proactive learning on how to engage and courteously dismiss visitors in a professional manner is essential.
5. The booth staff with staff responding perfectly with prospects – ie, engineers from your firm if prospects are engineers, etc.

There are basic "do's" that attract attention:
1. Having a warm smile and a warm personality.
2. Enthusiastic behavior – have direct eye contact, confront prospects by hi, then commit, and, finally, qualifying them.
3. Be professional and courteous, have authority and a solid knowledge about your product or service.
4. Treat visitors as they are your guests – same thing you do for your business or your home.
5. Demonstrate body language responsive – have your arms under control and your posture erect. Be proactive.
6. Trade Show Booth housekeeping – maintain a neat appearance, clean and tidy at any time.
7. Your name badge must be on the right side of your body to shake people's hands when you see it clearly.

1. Do not eat, drink or chew gum.
2. Do not make or accept phone calls (leave the booth to make calls).
3. Do not sit – (except in the conference area of the screen of your trade show to conduct business with customers).
4. Arrive on time – Do later. Be considerate of your fellow crew.
5. Never leave unattended the exhibition trade shows.
6. Do not visit socially in the booth with your colleagues or staff members stand nearby.

Engage visitors with effective sales techniques and tactics:
1. Host and participate prospect or client (30 seconds).
2. Probe prospect with questions memorized from a sheet Lead – who, what, why, when, where – to determine their needs and schedule. This positioning and pre-qualifying stage – (1 1 / 2 to 2 minutes).
3. Determine if the tradeshow prospect is qualified or not. If not, reject them professionally.
4. If they are qualified – Go demonstration, lead to a deepening dialogue, answer questions, present details on services / products (up to 5 minutes).
5. Get permission to proceed or get deeper into the subject or schedule further dialogue.
6. Conclusion – informing them of where you go from here. Moving towards a future appointment or sale. Set a time to reconnect. Swipe badge or get their card. Plan followed by sending information to their office so that the package is there when they return to their offices immediately after the trade show.
