Fabric Credit
Most of us enjoy silk products because it is a fabric that many people love. We love the feel of silk, cloth, if it is a silk scarf, a silk tie or sheets. While almost all individuals are aware that this is silkworms, how many of us really know about their production. Their products mostly are manufactured in silk that is produced by caterpillars of the moth, but there are other insects that also occur. The caterpillar of the moth silkworm or mulberry silk is considered that the national, while the silk that comes from other insects, is said to be raw silk.
In order to produce garments wear layers, must be cultivated. The cultivation of domestic and wild is very different and the end products differ, too. The product is collected wild, of course, nature and usually after the moth has already emerged from the chrysalis. When the butterfly emerge, largely can break, causing the threads that make up the silk, be shorter than if they are grown commercially.
A national differs in that the moths are not allowed to leave the cocoon, therefore, can not damage the thread. Actually, pupae never reach the stage of the moth, as they are immersed in boiling water or a needle is used for drilling before they reach adulthood. This allows a thread to be removed the cocoon as a continuous thread.
China gets the credit for the early development of silk weaving and is believed that its development can be traced to 6000 BC. At that time, because the luxury of a tissue is considered a status symbol, their products were mostly used by the Kings. Later, the use of spread through land, but remained mostly used by those who were rich.
The feel of the fabric and natural shine were the qualities that made the plot so attractive to so many. Later, the trade of products became so popular that the trade routes between Asia and Europe collectively known as the Silk Road.
While many articles have made their way through history, few have the distinction of standing the test of time and have a huge impact in the world. A fabric such as silk is one of those issues. Pure silk fabrics had a huge impact on the world thousands of years ago and still is a great consumer product. The use of which has changed the world, almost from the start and probably will still have an enormous impact on future generations.
